Soccer and My mom

Bethany roller skating in the house! (last fall)

So Hannah and Beth started soccer Saturday. Hannah loves it as I thought she would. She has an awesome coach this season! And she has 2 of her friends on her team. Bethany is sick right now so basically we went to meet the coach and team. She is the only 3 yr old on her team! The other kids are 4 and way bigger. Andy thought we should switch her team until I reminded him that these kids are in her league so we either play for their team or against their team. It only makes sense to play for them.

I mentioned Bethany was sick. Well so am I. We have this crumby cold that has a constant cough and clogged up or running nose. It sucks really bad. The cough not only sounds like a seal but it hurts too. It feels like a knife scraped the inside of my throat and chest every cough. (and remember it's constant) That is the reason I'm able to blog at 5:45 on the morning.

Well last but not least I love my mommy. I have spent this last week buying her mothers day gift. I am putting together a basket from Cody, Destiny and myself. We are just buying her tons of stamping stuff because we have grown to love card making. I am so excited about this gift because it has been fun to pick all of the stuff. I got her things I wished I had and a few things she always says she wants so I know she'll like it. I just wish I had about $500 to blow on her because it is so much fun to shop for this stuff. And I don't really like shopping that much. (usually because it takes a long time) This is just walk in buy what I can afford and is cute and walk out. FUN FUN FUN... She is worth every penny too! She is the best mommy ever and she has come a long way from her bar hopping', smoking', working 24/7 days. Now she can enjoy life to it's fullest and she has 2 wonderful people to do that with. Allen and Cody. They are her everything. (well besides me of course.) I LOVE YOU MOM!

Life this week...

Cemeteries---So this week I have been going to cemeteries and taking pictures. Sounds weird huh? Kinda. I am doing as a volunteer for findagrave.com. People want to see a picture of their loved ones graves but live too far away to take one themselves. It is a nice memorial for them. I have only been to 2 cemeteries and who knew they could be so confusing. The maps are ridiculous to follow and the unmarked ones don't say unmarked so here you are looking for something that's not there. Wow I have learned what questions to ask before I go. This is just something kind of fun that I can do for other people and at the same time find my ancestors on this site.

Hannah at school--- Today I took Bethany for some speech evaluations at Hannah's school and determined Beth just needs some practice on some letter sounds but is fine. But I was able to spend the day at school with Hannah. I went to recess and ate lunch with her. First, Yuck on school lunch! I'm sorry I make her ever eat it! Second, She has plenty of friends and seems to be quite the popular girl. I'm sure having Bethany and I there helped. At recess lots of girls crowded us and ran around with mine. Then back in the class Hannah sits with all boys at her table. She spilled today and both boys ran to get her a napkin. How nice. That's not even the one she said she was gonna have a sleep over at. (Not happening!) Needless to say, any fears about my daughter having friends are gone. I am a happy little mommy today.

Dreams

So I've been thinking this blog thing is going to be pretty hard to keep up on. Now I owe it to all of you to update regularly with pictures and thoughts. Wow. And I thought it would always be fun and easy. Well I saw this person 2 days ago at the library with my kids and I smiled to be nice even though I really wanted to tell my kids not to look. They were just all done up punk rock but with all the holes. That doesn't even usually bother me but this person had a mean look. So I smiled, and then they hocked a big one right on the sidewalk and tilted their head up and boy I felt like hurrying out of there. Well that person has successfully made it into my dreams. Yep they were that scary apparently! Crazy huh? Well I am working on getting my girls school pics up and also pics of my new nieces and nephew. Love you all...

Fun wherever we go!

We have a lot of fun around here! Cody and Hannah decided they wanted to show us how to play Guitar Hero. The thing is we were in Fred Meyer! Then we went to the mall to return some things and there was a carnival setting up. We played a game and won some stuffed animals. The thing is we were the only people at the whole carnival besides the workers! Isn't this a cute picture of the girls together on this slide. The thing is we were at Point Defiance Zoo not the park! We just have fun wherever we go and that's no joke!

The kids

So this is Bethany, Hannah and Cody. What little goofs. The girls had Cody over for the weekend and they had a blast. We went to the Daffodil parade, the park (a few times), Borders books, and we were all hot. We made sure to buy 3 kinds of Popsicles for the house afterwards! Hannah loved to have movie night on Friday AND Saturday! Bethany loved to have someone to play board games with. We played Cranium but she just liked to use the Play-doh. We all played Bingo after dinner! We definately packed our day!

My husband loves me

So I just wanted my first post to be all about my honey and how wonderful he is. He won't get a big head because he'll probably never care to read this. He took me to the melting pot for dinner and that's where this pic was. He is my knight in shining armor, sometimes it just has to be buffed a little because he's normal. He takes such good care of me and my girls and I couldn't ask for anything more. He cooks, cleans, and does try to look nice when he's not at work. At work he pours concrete all day so that does dull his shine a little. I love you Andy!
