Primary

Hannah's CTR6 Primary teacher sent me this picture of the kids. I guess the lesson was on the resurrection. They look great in their new glasses. Thanks Sandy. Aren't they cute. All boys! Hannah fits in perfectly.

FHE

...or family home evening as normal people would say. Us Mormons have to say too much already so we abbreviate things...
Friend-"What church do you go to?"
Us- "The church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints"
But as Hannah and Bethany nicely put it- "the church of God"
At least they have the important part down! I am so grateful for such a loving Heavenly Father. I love to be able to share stories and my testimony with my kids. I know they too will always love God. The girls just love the stories and tonight Bethany recapped one of the stories I told. I was frankly amazed she actually took in the whole story. She even prayed that she too would be able to recognize the Holy Ghost (holy spirit to some). I was so touched that she loves our Heavenly Father at such a young age. I know that I am doing my job as a mother to teach her how to recognize good and bad and when she needs to ask for help, through prayer, from God. I testify to you that if you too would have one special night each week to set aside to teach your family morals, values and righteous things that you will receive blessings from our Heavenly Father. He loves each one of us and if we strive to live righteously we will be able to return to him after this mortal life. (This is not perfection, it is STRIVING for perfection.) I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Soccer Rocks!

Go #11! You Rock Hannah! Hannah played a hard 1st game. Actually I think they were blinded by the new uniforms! They are a neon yellow. Almost chartreuse! She got to play goalie, and she was with the ball the whole game. She even had a head to head collision with another player. Man she is getting so tough. This season is definitely gonna be her best. I'm really a soccer mom, YIKES!

Pumpkin Patch Bliss

We had a fun filled day at the Pumpkin Patch. We went with my mom Sheryl, brother Cody and friend Melissa. We each got a pumpkin so imagine Andy wheeling 8 pumpkins around. They barely fit into the wheelbarrow! Then add the ruts of the patch and a million zillion people because it's so close to Halloween and it was Saturday! I'm just glad I'm not big enough to push yet. hehe. Bethany and Hannah had a hard time sitting still for any picture so this is the best we got. I love spending time with all of these guys!

Why the door?

So my kids have been on a little temper tantrum kick lately. Really a KICK! They have been testing... "what will mom do if I... Kick the door down?" Also the "I wonder if I can actually kick my bedroom door off?" Well they are trying. But NO they aren't quite strong enough to kick it off or "maybe Mom doesn't wait for that. She puts me in timeout every time. Man I thought I'd get away with it!" Needless to say I think they must be fighting this cold they have and are really extra tired lately. I know they love having their bedroom door attached or maybe they don't..., we'll see when they turn 13!

OOooops!

Don't we all have these days. I was just sorting my pictures into folders on my computer and came across dress up pics of the girls. Nice butt cheek sweet heart. And she didn't even know. We are mean for even taking the pic but ya gotta laugh!

10 Reasons I love Cystic Fibrosis

10. I get to fart in public and clear a room. (nasty!)
9. I get to do so many treatments that I actually wear out the machines!
8. I get to try to gain weight!
7. My 1st grader is stronger than me and almost as tall.
(It's probably really because she's jut built different.)
6. I get to get a physical every single month with shots and all.
5. I get to pretend to be an astronaut and wear this really cool th-air-apy vest that shakes me.
4. I get to gag on phlegm in public and gross everyone out!
3. I love the taste of a medicine burp!
2. I have a reason to be mean (sometimes) I can just say I'm not feeling well. Everyone buys it!
1. I get offered every single kind of cough drop out there known to man even by little old ladys in motorized carts. (Dumb and Dumber)

NO really I'm not depressed I was just laughing today at a the funny misconceptions and offering of cough drops. I actually had to think of all this stuff it wasn't really on my mind. Love to all the little old ladys that have given me a cough drop in the temple. I'm sure it helps every other cough out there just not CF.

Picture Me, You have to.

So a good friend asked me to post some pictures of me on my blog. I don't know why or anything. As you can tell by the pictures I often don't because this is what I get. I have a bunch of crap that people take of me. I either take them of myself or my kids take them. Even if Andy takes them he zooms in on the kids not me. Go figure. I've got this nice one of me at the ocean above and isn't that a cute pose. Wow maybe I should be a model so I can have some pictures taken of me. NOT. Love you all. Hope this gives you the Becky fix but I'm a little cut off or goofy in everything. I can't win.

Westport, WA

So this was our recent trip to Westport, WA. As you can see we were camping at the beach. We've got the sunset pics, the color daddy with sidewalk chalk and make him an Ogre pics, flying a Dora and Carebears kite pics, building sandcastles and listening to loud music from the bronco pics and laughing and running on the beach pics. Memories I will cherish for a lifetime. This was honesty our best family camp out ever. We all got along, we all helped make it a good time. And we all got sand in our underpants...
Just kidding. Love an kisses to all who read this!

Duck, Duck, Goose!

Look at these babes! Out on the lake fishing in our canoe. We caught 4 trout this trip. This is just one of our fun adventures this summer. I haven't been able to go far from home this summer due to being on the transplant list but this is in our backyard so I guess God does provide a way (to have fun).

We got crabs!

Yep we got crabs! Hermit crabs. Pearl, Forrest and King Crab. We had giraffe princess you can kind of see in the 3rd pic but she died. Oops. I'm new at the crab thing. The girls love them. Andy has to pick them up for us though. We are chicken to touch them. I don't know why I got them! Andy always asks "why?" So I am getting braver to transport them but they always want out of their shells and that is sick so I gross out.

Church

I had a really great day at church today. First in sacrament meeting there was a brand new member of my church who gave a talk. It was such a good testimony of Jesus Christ and how he will help us through prayer. I was really moved by his talk. Then there was a special musical trio who got up and sang "How great thou art." We all know that song but to have 3 teenage boys sing from their hearts and sound good was awesome. I had goose bumps! I also had the opportunity to teach in Primary class (6-7 yr olds). I only had 2 children in my class and I was able to sit and bond with them and talk about something that may change their lives, making good choices and repentance. Because they are young we don't go deep but they learned the story of the prodigal son and understood the meaning. I was able to come home and nap and spend the rest of the day with my family. This was such a wonderful basic day and I couldn't pass up writing about it. I want to remember this day forever.

We won tickets!

Yes. We won the tickets from the Zoo entry. So we took Cody and my mom too. Above in the pictures we have waiting before the show, during the show, and the cutest pic of the kids' hineys. I wasn't really supposed to take pictures during the show and they let me know so this is about the best one. It was so much fun. The kids were dancing and participating just how they were asked. It was great! Oh and see the t shirts cody and hannah have we won too. WE also got a cd from the show free and I think that was thrown in to annoy us. I don't know if I can do it in the car ever again. I prefer our rudolf over it but it was nice to win. Thanks to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium here in Tacoma, WA.
Go summer fun Go!

4th of July

On the 4th of July we went to a pancake breakfast at church and watched a flag ceremony done by the color guard. Then we ventured off to Eatonville. It's about an hour away and Andy's mom and dad have a cabin up there. It is way up on a hill overlooking the town. I think we played Rock Band the video game most of the time. My good pictures are all taken sideways and so because I'm not so good with the photo software you get these dark ones. But little Hannah is still cute! As you can see by the squirrel too, wildlife just come right onto the porch. It is fun to watch. My kids kept coming to get me to show me what kind of bird, chipmunk, squirrel or giant moth was on the porch. The moth we saw was bigger than my fist no joke. His body was as thick as my finger. Crazy. God's creations are beautiful! The fireworks from the towns people in Eatonville, Graham and Puyallup could be seen so we know we don't need to buy a thing next year. I didn't this year but everyone insists that's what makes a great 4th. We had a ton of fun and Andy was able to go rock climbing on Saturday and swimming and hiking. There is even a swing called the death swing that most people went on (not me). Hannah and Bethany couldn't get enough of it. I had to go inside because my anxiety was so high with my angels on that thing. It is a swing on a hill and so when you swing out you are way way way above anything. They actually tied the little ones to it with some homemade harnessing system so they can't fall! Yikes. Church on Sunday was very wonderful as usual and we got to meet some great new people in the Eatonville ward. Great weekend overall!

Monkeying around!

We went to the zoo on June 30th with our friend Melissa who's in the picture. We always have fun at the zoo. We entered a contest at the zoo to win some Go Diego Go tickets...

Jenks Park

summer this far... well it's gone quite well. This is the girls at Jenks Park. It's a lakeside beach a few blocks from my house. They have fun at the park and then swimming and getting completely sandy! We spent the whole last week in June here because of the heat. That's a great start to our summer fun! They always beg to go to Jenks.

I'm your biggest fan Hannah!

Hannah got her soccer pictures taken this Saturday and was proud to be a member of the Lightning Cheetahs. Here she is being a goalie, being a spaz and being hungry for her snack. Isn't she cute. I get such joy out of watching her play these games and have fun. Go Hannah!

Sick Family

There's a bug and they got it. Fever, nausea and lethargic. Poor babies. Andy had it too but he really wasn't up for pictures!

Mothers Day

These pictures don't do this justice but Monday after my doctors appointment Cody, my mom and I went to the Rain Forest Cafe. There are rainstorms, animals doing shows and fun menus. We went here as my moms mothers day. She was gone on the actual mothers day.
I love you mom!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

On Saturday morning Hannah and Andy went fishing. When they got back we took Andy to donate blood and happened upon a farmers market. I had him drop the kids and me off and we got balloon animals and made rockets we could launch. Plus the music and foods all around us. Also we bumped into friends of ours so that was fun. Afterwards we visited our grandma who now has to be in a nursing home. We brought her pictures the kids made and found out what she needed. As if that wasn't enough, we went to a customer party at the Old Cannery furniture store. There were free hot dogs, soda, old time pictures, and clowns. Hannah got her face painted and Bethany got another balloon animal. We got out of the sun just in time to have nice little tans (not burns). Andy did yard work most of the day but I'm sure he enjoyed the sun! Sunday was church and a BBQ.
