4th of July

On the 4th of July we went to a pancake breakfast at church and watched a flag ceremony done by the color guard. Then we ventured off to Eatonville. It's about an hour away and Andy's mom and dad have a cabin up there. It is way up on a hill overlooking the town. I think we played Rock Band the video game most of the time. My good pictures are all taken sideways and so because I'm not so good with the photo software you get these dark ones. But little Hannah is still cute! As you can see by the squirrel too, wildlife just come right onto the porch. It is fun to watch. My kids kept coming to get me to show me what kind of bird, chipmunk, squirrel or giant moth was on the porch. The moth we saw was bigger than my fist no joke. His body was as thick as my finger. Crazy. God's creations are beautiful! The fireworks from the towns people in Eatonville, Graham and Puyallup could be seen so we know we don't need to buy a thing next year. I didn't this year but everyone insists that's what makes a great 4th. We had a ton of fun and Andy was able to go rock climbing on Saturday and swimming and hiking. There is even a swing called the death swing that most people went on (not me). Hannah and Bethany couldn't get enough of it. I had to go inside because my anxiety was so high with my angels on that thing. It is a swing on a hill and so when you swing out you are way way way above anything. They actually tied the little ones to it with some homemade harnessing system so they can't fall! Yikes. Church on Sunday was very wonderful as usual and we got to meet some great new people in the Eatonville ward. Great weekend overall!
